Some words about the dedication to the Lan Party lifestyle..
Many of us really like Lan party gaming. Some of us labor endless nights to prep for such events whether it be hosting, cooking, patching and upgrading. While all of this
effort" is commendable, it really doesn't show the devotion that a few have made to be a big part of this. Of course I'm talking about Michael, Ryan, and this time around Susan Richey. These youngsters drove not once but twice from Washington to California! THIS is true devotion and commitment to lan party gaming. This effort also led to Ryan winning the Lan Party Trophy which I heard he held all the way back to Washington. True there were contests and other criteria in which points were awarded for the victory but regardless of all that Ryan simply kicked major ass! Every game was ultimately won by him so congratulations.
I'd like to personally say thanks to all who showed up and even to someone who didn't. Bill has been to almost every Lan party I can remember and despite his absence, he still made his delicious chili to keep us happy. Thank you Bill for the chili and you were missed. It doesn't seem the same without you but your son Jeff was there to represent for you.
While many factor drive the Lan party spirit like good food, friends and gaming madness, there is yet one more reason for the commitment.......
WHERE ELSE CAN YOU GO AND HAVE EVERYONE YOU KNOW AND LOVE SMELL YOUR ASS ALL AT THE SAME TIME!
